Acquitted Police Commander Hires Civil Rights Lawyer...

A Chicago police commander acquitted late last year in a high-profile criminal case has retained a prominent civil rights attorney, Crooked City has learned.

Chicago Police Commander Glenn Evans, acquitted of nine-felony charges stemming from the 2013 arrest of a gang member after a short foot chase, has reportedly retained prominent civil rights attorney Victor Henderson.

Obtaining the services of Henderson is a sign that Evans may be contemplating legal action in connection with his case.
